Nuke Kid in Town

With the country still reeling from the apocalyptic impact of devastating sequester budget cuts and the tragic loss of Hugo Chavez, one of the president's closest allies and role models, we were ill-prepared for the threat from North Korea that they soon plan to launch a preemptive nuclear attack on the United States which will turn Washington DC into "a sea of fire."

Fortunately, Barack Obama has a plan to assure the continuity of our government in case the worst happens; he's heroically getting the hell out of Dodge and planning a vacation in Martha's Vineyard.

Yes, even though the president claims that there is no longer enough money for the government to staff the TSA, keep Navy vessels at sea, inspect meat for school lunches, forecast death-dealing weather events, pay to sweep the BS off the floors of Congress, or keep dangerous foreign felons in jail, Secret Service staffers are already booking accommodations and tee times for Mr. Obama's wildly expensive annual trip to Martha's Vineyard. Or we should say semi-annual, since last summer the president couldn't leave the campaign trail because it was so important to visit colleges and warn the students that capitalism causes global warming, and Mitt Romney causes cancer.

Meanwhile, North Korea's threats are being met for the umpteenth time with a powerfully worded warning from the UN which lacks nothing in impact just because it's sent on a pre-printed Hallmark card with a fill-in-the-blank line where "North Korea" has been hastily scribbled.

Although come to think of it, if UN sanctions are effective enough to protect all of us from nuclear war, maybe Mr. Obama could save some more sequester money by dismissing the Secret Service and just using UN sanctions to protect himself.

At the very least, it would free up more Secret Service agents for the apparently critical task of presidential vacation planning.

Words That Heal

obama, obama jokes, ermey, f lee ermey, stilton jarlsberg, hope n' change, hope and change, saboteur, sequester, conservative, tea party

When one hears the word "saboteur," it conjures images of an old black & white movie in which some sleazy, greasy-haired East European-type factory worker carries a lunchbox full of dynamite and places it under an assembly line making bombsights, rivets, silk stockings or other vital World War II materials.

But when you hear the word "saboteur" today, you should think of only one thing: Barack Obama. Because that is what he has become - and the worst is still ahead of us.

A great article in the Wall Street Journal points out that the president is now engaging in a deliberate campaign to injure the economy and the American people, causing as much pain as possible. Why? Because if he can blame it on the GOP, then the 2014 elections could put Nancy Pelosi back in charge of the House of Representatives, after which there will be no Socialist, totalitarian fantasy of the Left which will go unfulfilled. Stick a fork in Lady Liberty...she'll be done.

Look at the first (and sadly successful) part of Obama's new "gut America" strategy - the sequester. He created it in return for borrowing more money, he refused to make the spending cuts which would call off the sequester, he made sure that the automatic cuts would be as painful (and illogical) as possible,  he overhyped the potential effects as Armageddon, and he blamed all of this on the Republicans...and (as always) got the full backing of the media. He said that for the next six months, every time we hear bad economic news we should know that it would have been better news if not for the Republicans' sequester - and the lying bastard will make sure that there's plenty of bad economic news to report.

Janet Napolitano has certainly helped too, lying about airport delays and national security threats caused by "severe" budget cutbacks - while still finding $50 million to pay for new uniforms for each and every TSA inspector (at a cost of $1000 per inspector), and plenty of additional dollars to purchase 2700 armored troop carriers for domestic use. Gulp.

Similarly, the Whitehouse has sent out an email to Federal agencies instructing them to make sure that sequester cuts are administered in the most painful way possible because that's what Obama said they'd be.

So employment will continue to stink, the dollar will weaken, the healthcare system will descend further into chaos, and our national security will suffer - all by design. All to put Americans into so much pain and panic that they'll demand a government big enough to "solve" the problems... and that sort of big, all-controlling government is exactly what Obama intends to give us with no hope of escape. Ever.

So just what is the proper description for a man like this who fully intends to divide our nation and destroy our country for his own political gain:

A) Saboteur
B) Traitor
C) Enemy of the State?

But of course, you already know that the answer is D) All of the Above.

This Spud's For You

obama, obama jokes, hope and change, hope n' change, stilton jarlsberg, not a dictator, boy and dog

In these strange days of Hope and Change, good news ain't what it used to be. Specifically, the latest example of "good" news is that Barack Hussein Obama has proclaimed "I am not a dictator." The bad news is that, when the comment is understood in context, he wishes he was a dictator so he could do away with Congress, the Constitution, and Conservatives.

Specifically, the president's comment was made in response to a jaw-droppingly idiotic question from an alleged journalist who asked why Obama can't head off the sequester cuts by forcing GOP members into a meeting and not letting them go until they make a deal. To which the president lamented that "the issue is not my persuasive power" but the fact that he's not a dictator - the clear implication being that if he were, by God, he could get this country moving again!

Of course, this is far from the first time that Barry has blamed his failures on the limitations of the presidency. He has previously whined that he is not the Emperor of the United States, and his job requires him (apparently unwillingly) to execute laws that are passed.  And why hasn't the president achieved immigration reform? Because "I'm not a king."

And it's not just the limitations of his office which annoy B. Hussein - it's the snippy "hey, we've got rights" attitude of the annoying American people. How else to explain his remark that he would find it "easier to be the president of China." This is a United States president who looks at Tiananmen Square and is on the side of the freaking tanks.

America is facing serious problems right now, many of them caused or made worse by this president. But the reason these problems persist is not the fact that Barack Obama is "not a dictator." Rather, the problem is he is not an even marginally competent leader.
